eWorthy offers a variety of Solutions and Services for your company, including:

Engineering and Technical Services

eWorthy provides engineering and technical support services to U.S. and foreign Navies throughout the world. We support various program initiatives to reduce workload, maintenance, manning and overall life cycle costs of Navy surface combatant and auxiliary ships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in areas that include electrical and mechanical engineering, systems engineering, and software development.

Our SMEs support the fleet’s propulsion systems, machinery control systems, damage control systems, auxiliary systems and bridge/navigation systems. A U.S. Navy ship is typically designed to operate for a 30 year life cycle, beginning with the ship construction/acquisition phase, through a mid-life modernization phase, and then a continued in-service engineering support phase. Depending upon the specific phase of a ship’s life cycle, our LCE SMEs are involved in engineering and technical services in the following areas:

Systems Requirements & Specification Development

System specification development requires reviewing top level requirements to meet operational needs.

Software and Hardware Requirements

Once top level requirements are developed, software and hardware requirements are developed to tailor the specifications to require standardized, Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) components for reduced life cycle management cost, improved reliability and supportability.

Software Development

We use RUP UML methodologies for defining customer requirements, and context and conceptual models to define the business process to be modelled, then Agile development techniques to assure iterative development with much customer involvement.

Using CMMI principles for software repeatability and reliability, we develop software using PLC ladder Logic and C++ for Human Machine Interface (HMI).

Systems Integration

We integrate software, hardware and networking components of testing and evaluation

Writing Test Plans and Test Procedures

We write test plans and procedures to ensure all test requirements for shock, vibration, environmental, etc are sufficiently tested in the most effective and efficient way possible.

Technologies

We work with a variety of technologies including S1000D Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), ERP systems, Illustrated Parts Breakdown Lists, Provisioning Parts Lists, DCACAS, Failure Analysis, Supply Support, Level of Repair Analysis, Availability Centered Inventory Models.
